Amani Cultural Enrichment (ACE)

This Violence and Bullying Prevention pilot was an intense engagement with 7 yeaers old to 16 years old process the violence they encountered with Village Talk, Mindfulness, Yoga, Drumming, African dancing, Art therapy, Board games & Active movement, and Psychoeducation on mental health issues with parental engagement. We posited that youth are exposed to more violence than we think and they are attuned to the harms to them in their community. At the end of session, the youth were sad to see it end and recommended it as an after school or summer programming. We had 100 % attendance with parental engagement and youth daily,
