Founder Jataun J Rollins, AM presented on the topic of Cultural, Historical, and Gender Issues highlighting the need to place historical, cultural and gender context in view with current events. 1863FWD presumes everyone who seeks support or therapeutic care may have experienced trauma bringing their worldview into an organization’s space or community. It was underscored using our experiences with vulnerable populations that staff members, volunteers, speakers, and board members required training on what trauma informed care looks like across the agency for a consistent community of care.
Founder Rollins intends to sponsor CEU events on the merits of social exchange programs having traveled abroad to Sydney, Australia,; Shanghi, China; and Hamburg, Germany examing cultures and their methods of engagement, support, and programming.
